Cottees Auction House, DorsetAntiques & General Auctions

Cottees hold Antiques & General Sales fortnightly on Tuesdays commencing at 10:00am.

Viewing for these sales is on the Monday before the Auction from 10:00am - 7:00pm.

Where the Monday falls on a Bank Holiday the auction will be held on Wednesday and viewing will be Tuesday times are from 10:00am – 7:00pm.

You can also view from 9am on Sale Day.

Auctions starting at 10:00am:
Collectables to be sold in the Middle Hall (from Lot 1 to 699).
General & Outside Effects to be sold in the Yard & Outside Halls (from Lot 1001 to 1799). Auctions in the Old Produce Hall will be held alternately to auctions in the Egglestone Hall.



Auctions starting at 11.30pm:
Quality antique furniture to be sold in the Egglestone Hall (from Lot 701 to 999) on the first sale of the month.

Cottees Auction House, DorsetWeekly Produce & Flower Auctions

Every week on Thursday we have a Produce & Flower Auction and a Market.

Our 300 year old town Market in Wareham, which has run from the present location for virtually the whole of the last century, has the accolade of two Royal Charters.  Every Thursday, you can come and bid at our Produce & Flower Auction, which is now one of the last in Dorset. For the Produce and Flower auction, a buyer's premium of 5% plus V.A.T. applies.  

In addition to the Produce Auction there are many local stalls offering a wide range of items for sale.

Our Poole Pottery Auctions, which are the largest in Britain, are held twice a year in April and October and promoted world wide.  Poole Pottery Appraisals are also held twice a year in March and September.

Viewing is on the Friday prior to the sale.

These Auctions are on Saturdays and Viewing is on the Friday before the sale from 10am – 7pm.

Collectable Toy & Model Railway Auctions are held four times a year, in March, June, September and December.

These auctions are on Saturdays and viewing is on the Friday before the sale.
